Two more credit unions will now be offering remote deposit capture along with their other mobile banking functionality.
They are the $377 million, 38,100-member City & County Credit Union in St. Paul, Minn., and the $139 million, 23,900-member Summit Credit Union in Greensboro, N.C.
Both credit unions are customers of Connection Financial Software Solutions of Salt Lake City.
City & County said it is one of the first credit unions in Minnesota to offer RDC and that nearly 1,000 deposits were made in the feature's first month. The app also offers bill pay, transfer and ATM locating tools and works on iPhones, iPads and Android devices, the credit union said.
Summit CU said its new mobile app will debut on Friday and will work on iPhones and Androids. Functionality includes RDC, as well as balances and transfers.
