Copies of the new book “Money Rules: The Simple Path to Lifelong Security” by bestselling personal finance author Jean Chatzky are now available from the NCUF.

“Money Rules” contains a set of smart, actionable, engaging rules that if followed will allow readers to enjoy a lifetime of financial security and eliminate their stress about money, Chatzky said.

“'Money Rules' is a simple yet powerful money management book,” said Bucky Sebastian, NCUF executive director. “People of almost any age can pick it up, read from any page and learn something profound from Jean Chatzky's simple but important rules. It's a great handbook to help consumers achieve financial freedom and we hope it spreads throughout the credit union movement.”

Through this special initiative sponsored by NCUF, credit union organizations can order the book for a substantially reduced rate to distribute to staff, members and the community.

Chatzky has covered consumer budgeting, investing, and other personal finance topics for more than two decades.

“In these trying economic times it is more important than ever to learn all we can about our personal finances,” she said. “I commend NCUF for taking steps to increase the financial literacy of credit union members and am excited to share 'Money Rules' with them.
