The $793 million, 50,100-member Financial Partners Credit Union in Downey, Calif., is now offering a credit card rewards program the credit union said has a differentiator from other programs: the rewards don't expire.

The Platinum Rewards Card program allows members to earn points that can be redeemed for merchandise, gift cards from merchants and air travel from Orbitz.

The no-fee card carries a low rate and the points won't expire as long as members make a qualified purchase at least once every 12 months, FPCU said.

"We are pleased to provide a product that not only gives members more purchasing power but gives back as well. It's another way of providing value to our members that enables them to keep looking to us for their financial needs," said FPCU President/CEO Nader Moghaddam.

FPCU serves employees and their families within the aviation, aerospace, and healthcare industries in the Los Angeles area and has branches in Brea, Downey, Huntington Beach, Orange and Woodland Hills.
