The $2.8 million UTI Employees Credit Union in Collegeville, Pa. has merged into the $1.2 billion American Heritage Federal Credit Union in Philadelphia.

Terms of the merger, which took effect Nov. 1, were not disclosed.

The merger adds more than 500 new members to American Heritage's membership rolls and UTI's Collegeville branch at 373 E. Main St. becomes American Heritage's 27th branch, the credit union said.

Founded in 1972, UTI Employees Credit Union served the employees of Accellent (formerly Uniform Tubes Inc.) and the employees of Micro-Coax Components. 

American Heritage FCU, founded in 1948, said it now serves more than 700 sponsor companies and 121,000 members.
