Chartway Federal Credit Union in Virginia Beach, Va., said Tuesday that it was mourning the loss of longtime board member John "Jack" McGrath.

McGrath was a volunteer for 22 years and a board member for the past 18 years, having served as chair, first and second vice chair and secretary. The Virginia Credit Union League had recognized McGrath's many contributions by presenting him its Roy F. Bergengren Award, Chartway added in its announcement.
