The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association office in Harrisburg will remain closed Tuesday because of Hurricane Sandy.

PCUA Communications Specialist Janet Johnson said many credit unions that were closed Monday are expected to remain closed on Tuesday.

The $1.8 billion, 340,000-member Municipal Credit Union in New York City also said it would be closed Monday.

The Credit Union Association of New York is encouraging credit unions to keep the CUANY informed about the storm's impact. The association is available to help credit unions coordinate assistance and organize resources.

New York credit unions should call the member services helpline at 1-800-342-9835, ext. 8546 or [email protected], or Tracy Conner, vice president of member relationship at 1-800-42-9835, ext. 8107 or [email protected].
