Tom Brokaw and personal finance journalist Jean Chatzky will be the keynote speakers at CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference set for Feb. 24-28 at the Washington Convention Center.
Brokaw is best-selling author of “The Greatest Generation” and longtime NBC News anchor. Chatzky is also a best-selling author, personal finance journalist and “Today Show” regular.
“Tom Brokaw will share his unique insight into more than 50 years of American life. Jean Chatzky is a perfect fit with the credit union movement: she is all about empowering Americans to make strong, life-long financial choices,” said CUNA President/CEO Bill Cheney.
The theme for the 2013 GAC is “Powerful Cause, Positive Effect” and reflects the credit union commitment to the 95 million working Americans who rely on credit unions daily, Cheney said.
