Not only did one lucky member of Freedom Credit Union get a year's worth of free gas through a recent campaign, new auto loan applications also experienced a jump.
The $584 million Freedom in Warminster Pa., launched its Fuel Up On Freedom auto loan promotion and sweepstakes over the summer.
Frances Proulx was randomly selected from a group of Freedom members who applied for a credit union auto loan between July 1 and Sept. 30, according to Freedom.
During this time, the lending department said it also experienced an increase of nearly 1,000 new auto loan applications, which included new vehicle purchases and refinanced loans from other lenders.
Freedom serves more than 58,500 members.
