The $1.7 billion MIDFLORIDA Credit Union plans to convert to Fiserv Inc.'s flagship Acumen account processing platform, the company and credit union said.
The 161,000-member Lakeland, Fla., credit union currently runs on a Fiserv CUBE core processing platform, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
The 33-branch MIDFLORIDA already uses Fiserv enterprise content management, accounting and credit card processing solutions and will be adding consumer and commercial debit processing, the company and credit union said.
“We value the flexibility and scalability provided by Acumen to support our membership growth, and we can depend upon the system to deliver consistent and readily available service for our members,” said Steve Moseley, MIDFLORIDA's executive vice president and chief financial officer.
More than 30 credit unions have now committed to the Acumen platform, which was rolled out to the U.S. market in 2009 after it was launched in Canada under the iSpectrum name.
