The $5.5 billion American Airlines Federal Credit Union in Fort Worth, Texas, has chosen MeridianLink in Costa Mesa, Calif., to provide the 235,000-member credit union with an integrated account opening and loan origination solution.
The MeridianLink system works across channels, including in-branch, online and through call centers and kiosks, the company said. Its decisioning capabilities also were a factor in the decision, AA Credit Union said.
“We will be able to better customize our lending guidelines and incorporate additional loan parameters,” said Susan Longley, the credit union's vice president of consumer lending and account services.
“We are looking forward to being able to provide business loans in addition to consumer loans – including auto, airplane, credit cards, personal and home equity – through the system,” Longley said. She said plans also include integrating Docusign e-signature capabilities.
MeridianLink said more than 500 financial institutions, the majority of them credit unions, currently use its account opening and loan origination solutions.
