Remote deposit capture is now being offered to the 109,000 members of the $1.4 billion AnheuserBusch Employees' Credit Union and American Eagle Credit Union in St. Louis.
More than 470 checks were deposited in the first 10 days the service was offered, ABECU/AECU said. The mobile RDC technology is from NCR, ABECU/AECU said.
"As mobile banking continues to grow, we will continue to enhance the functionality and convenience of our mobile account access. By introducing eDeposit, it's simply another way to give our members access, whenever they want, wherever they want," said Calvin Curdt, vice president of information systems.

The eDeposit feature is free to all eligible MobileAccess+ app users, ABECU/AECU said.
AECU is the community-based field of membership division of ABECU, the credit union said. It serves a number of counties and SEGs in Missouri and Illinois near St. Louis and a 10-mile radius around the credit union's Dallas branch. ABECU serves the employees and retirees of all Anheuser-Busch Companies, wholly owned subsidiaries and distributors of Anheuser-Busch products.
