Two Kansas credit unions will be converting to the Sharetec Systems core processing platform through Data Systems of Texas, the company said.

They are the $36 million Dillon Credit Union in Hutchinson and the $22 million Co-Operative Credit Union of Coffeyville.

They'll be running the platform through a service bureau and also offering remote electronic signatures, mobile banking, remote deposit capture and electronic notices and alerts, the company said.

Both credit unions currently run on a Systronics core platform, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.

Waco-based Data Systems of Texas is one of four regional owners of Sharetec Systems of Lino Lakes, Minn., and said it now has 70 installations around the Southwest.

Another Sharetec partner, Bradford-Scott Data Corp. of Indianapolis, said it now is offering the Easy Saver marketing tool to its credit unions.

The software rounds up debit transactions to the nearest dollar and adds the difference to the member's savings account.“Members are amazed how a few cents can add up to big bucks. They are always looking for ways to get ahead, and the Easy Saver program offers them a great way to save,” said Anna Melecosky at the $62 million Landmark CU in Danville, Ill.

Sharetec Systems, meanwhile, will hold its annual users conference on Aug. 28-30 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, Ind. The company said more than 300 credit unions now use its core processing software.
