Lending Solutions Inc. announced that the official grand opening of its second contact center in Naperville, Ill., will be held during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 15.

Naperville Mayor George Pradel, Chamber of Commerce officials and other business and community leaders will participate in the ceremony, the company said.

LSI said that it needed to add a second office space outside of its headquarters in Elgin, Ill., to house its expanding number of staffers. The new center, about 30 miles away, will additionally act as a disaster recovery site.

“Being a part of the Naperville community offers some strategic advantages to our operation, namely its dynamic business environment, convenient location to our Elgin headquarters and major transportation networks, and access to a large, skilled labor force,” said Lee Kolquist, president/CEO of LSI.

“Additionally, this new state-of-the-art, 24-hour contact center will help us continue to offer world-class service to our growing clientele, provide a comfortable, productive workplace for our employees, and ensure full disaster-recovery support for both of our facilities,” Kolquist said.

The company said that 70 employees are already working in 20,000-square-foot Naperville office and that it expects to fill 120 positions in the next 18 months.

LSI added that the new center has the capacity to hold 235 employees, should it decide to further expand in the future.

More than 300 credit unions now use LSI for 24-hour lending and other member services, the company said.
