New Mexico credit unions will be offered comprehensive compliance services through an agreement between the Credit Union Association of New Mexico and Des Moines, Iowa-based PolicyWorks, a credit union compliance firm.
PolicyWorks said it will provide the state's credit unions with regulatory training and audit services, as well as monthly newsletters about compliance trends and issues.
"This partnership will deliver outstanding efficiency for the CUANM without compromising the quality of compliance services available to the association's membership," said PolicyWorks CEO Justin Hupfer. "We pride ourselves on becoming a seamless extension of the credit union associations with which we partner."
PolicyWorks said it has also agreed to give the association access to its hotline service, which can be used to answer any questions about regulatory compliance issues.
