Coastal Federal Credit Union in Raleigh, N.C., is now monitoring the varied transactions from its personal teller machines with tools from BlueStripe Software of Morrisvlle, N.C.
The $2.1 billion, 193,000-member Coastal is the first credit union user of the Research Triangle company's FactFinder solution, the company said.
The software is being used in conjunction with the credit union's personal teller machines – ATM-like devices with expanded functions that also include two-way remote interaction with live tellers.
The BlueStripe software maps and monitors transactions running across the infrastructure, including across platforms and into private clouds and third-party services, the company said, and recognizes, locates and identifies problems holding up the processes.
"FactFinder gives us a precision we did not previously have, eliminating the guesswork when finding the root cause of application slowdowns," said Chris Whitesock, IT director at Coastal FCU. "FactFinder is a necessity in our data center, giving us real-time visibility into every connection in our applications–even those we didn't know existed."
