The $35 million Spartanburg Regional Federal Credit Union made Friday the 13th a lucky day for some customers at a local coffee shop next to its branch in Duncan, S.C.

The giveaway was part of the MADTAG effort under way by South Carolina credit unions. "This is SRFCU's small contribution to the larger statewide make-a-difference campaign," said SRFCU's CEO, Pat West.
