The $1.8 billion, 155,400-member Grow Financial Federal Credit Union said it plans to open its 19th branch next month, a new facility in downtown Tampa, Fla.
The new facility will be at 400 N. Tampa St., and is expected to open on or around Aug. 27. It will feature “an innovative and refreshing alternative to traditional bank lobby designs, a contemporary color scheme and unique interactive technology showcasing a new virtual money machine,” Grow Financial said in a statement.
Jason Moss, senior vice president of Delivery Channels, said, “Going forward, all of our new branches will provide a pleasantly surprising environment for conducting your banking business, designed to be both comforting and entertaining.”
New branches also are planned this year and next in Lakeland and Wesley Chapel, the credit union said in its statement, adding, “Grow Financial also has long-term plans to expand out of the state of Florida.”
Grow Financial President/CEO Bob Fisher said, “When looking at our long-term growth strategy, our leadership team felt it was critical for us to have a presence in downtown Tampa,” “We are confident that our new branch design will have great appeal to those who work downtown, and it will truly showcase where we are heading as an organization.”
Grow Financial was established in 1955 to serve MacDill Air Force Base and said it now serves the employees of 1,100 local businesses.
