The $771 million Financial Partners Credit Union is sponsoring the Columbia Memorial Space Center's ”Great Balls of Fire: Comets, Asteroids and Meteors” exhibit during its summer run at the learning center in Downey, Calif. The show ends Sept. 16.

The credit union's $10,000 sponsorship includes placing its logos on the banners and signs at the museum and will help bring the “Great Balls of Fire” exhibit to the surrounding Los Angeles County schools.

The traveling exhibit was created by the Space Science Institute's National Center for Interactive Learning, with funding from the National Science Foundation and NASA. It focuses on comets, asteroids, and meteors with hands-on interactive exhibits and real meteors.

“The aerospace industry is obviously near and dear to our hearts as many companies within this industry are our SEGs. It was a natural fit for us to be a part of this amazing program that enhances our community,” said Financial Partners President/CEO Nader Moghaddam.
