According to an online survey conducted by Utah Business magazine, the $3 billion Mountain America CU is the state's “most admired” company.
The survey – “People's Choice: Utah's Most Admired Companies” – was conducted via social media sites and consisted of 104 companies in total. Mountain America gained the highest vote, with more than 10% of the total number of votes cast.
“Heading the list of Utah's most-admired companies is a terrific honor and responsibility,” said Sterling Nielsen, president/CEO of Mountain America in South Jordan. “Our challenge now is to continue to improve and exceed the current expectations of our members.”
Mountain America has 71 branches in five states and has recently been expanding in states such as Idaho.
