Five more credit unions have decided to offer their members mobile remote deposit capture through Vertifi Software LLC, a subsidiary of Eastern Corporate Federal Credit Union of Burlington, Mass.
The company said the new users of DeposZip are the $139 million cPort Credit Union of Portland, Maine; $247 million HealthCare Associates Credit Union of Naperville, Ill.; $2 billion Keesler Federal Credit Union of Biloxi, Miss.; $191 million PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union of Washington, D.C.; and $197 million Service 1st Federal Credit Union of Danville, Pa.
Vertifi said there now are 300,000 registered users at 90 credit unions in 30 states for DeposZip PC and mobile RDC programs. The mobile service offers support for iPhones, iPads, the iPod touch and Android devices.
DeposZip was launched in 2008 and now has processed more than 2.7 million checks totaling more than $1.9 billion, the company said.
