The $1.4 billion ORNL Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge, Tenn., will be offering its 152,500 members brokerage and investment services through INVEST Financial Corp. of Tampa, Fla., the company and credit union said.

INVEST said it was the first broker-dealer to conduct a securities trade in a bank lobby and in 30 years has built a network of more than 1,100 representatives at more than 150 credit unions and banks.

“We trust this relationship with INVEST will allow us to continue to grow, while providing exceptional service to our clients,” said Melodie Godfrey, executive vice president at ORNL.

“INVEST will provide customized operations support as well as innovative technology platforms for ORNL Federal Credit Union. We are confident our industry experience and customer service will allow us to build a lasting relationship with this organization,” said Steve Dowden, president/CEO of INVEST, a subsidiary of National Planning Holdings, itself an affiliate of Jackson National Life Insurance Co.
