NAFCU said its first Women's Leadership Summit will be part of the trade group's 45th annual conference on July 24 in Nashville, Tenn.
The event will include women's compensation survey results from Burns-Fazzi Brock and a workshop by Nan Siemer, a negotiation expert from Breakers Consulting, NAFCU said. A discussion on networking will be held in the afternoon, followed by a reception.
"Our annual conference helps credit union professionals across the board – from up-and-coming to established leaders – advance successfully. Offering a summit tailored to women's unique interests is a natural extension of that objective," said NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker.
