The Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corp. is partnering with The Paragon Group to host a new Volunteer Leadership Institute program. The conference will be held at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vt., Sept. 23-26.
VLI-East will feature nationally recognized speakers with expertise in key regulatory, compliance and governance issues. In addition, breakout groups will offer opportunities for peers from across the U.S. to share best practices.
Scheduled talks will focus on topics such as "The Right Moves for Credit Unions in Today's Economy" by Dennis Dollar of Dollar Associates LLC and "What Keeps the Regulators Awake at Night?" by NASCUS President Mary Martha Fortney. Michael Hanson, president/ CEO of MSIC, will present "Creating an Effective Strategic Plan" with Paragon Group President James This and Senior Consultant Bob Schumacher.
