Patty Idol, president of the $138 million Mountain Credit Union in Waynesville, N.C, has been appointed to serve as a director on the NASCUS Credit Union Executive Council.
Idol will fill the unexpired term of Jim Blaine, president/CEO of the $24 billion State Employees' Credit Union of Raleigh, who chose not to seek re-election after more than a decade of service on the council, NASCUS said. The term runs until September.
The appointment was made by Cathie Tierney, council chairman and president/CEO of the $1.5 billion Community First Credit Union in Appleton, Wis.
