The $78 million Alternatives Federal Credit Union in Ithaca, N.Y., plans to convert to the Symitar Episys core processing system through the service bureau at Synergent Technology Services of Portland, Maine, the company said.
The 9,400-member Alternatives FCU also will implement Access Softek mobile banking, online banking on the Jwaala platform, electronic bill pay and statement processing, said Synergent, a subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League.
Alternatives FCU currently is a Fiserv CUSA core processing client, according to the Technology Survey at Callahan & Associates.

Synergent said it now has more than 55 credit unions using its service bureau for core processing and nearly 200 credit union clients overall.
