The Credit Union Executives Society is on the hunt for young credit union executives to compete in the 2012 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec, a contest designed to honor emerging credit union leaders ages 35 and under, CUES announced. Nominations can be submitted through June 15 at www.ntcue.com.

This year, nominees from all geographic regions will be narrowed down to a group of 15 through a public voting. The top 15 candidates will be required to submit a blog post and each will receive an executive coaching session from DDJ Myers, a Phoenix-based recruiting firm and CUES' 2012 Next Top Credit Union Exec contest partner.

A judging panel from CUES will then select 5 top finalists, who will submit YouTube video presentations and travel to CUES' CEO/Executive Team Network, scheduled for Nov. 4-7 in Manalapan, Fl., where they will make final presentations. The winner will receive further coaching plus airfare, accommodations and registration for two CUES CEO Institute education programs – a prize package valued at $20,000.

“CUES was founded 50 years ago by future-focused credit union executives, so it's a testament to our founders that CUES continues to look to the future with a new generation of leaders,” said Fred Johnson, president/CEO for CUES. “We're eagerly anticipating the talent that comes forward during this year's challenge.”

CUES' emerging industry leader program is administered by the Chilliwack, British Columbia-based marketing agency Currency Marketing.
