The $2 billion Redwood Credit Union of Santa Rosa, Calif., sponsored and participated in the annual Apple Blossom Parade, a springtime tradition in Sebastopol, Calif., that dates to 1947.

Forty RCU volunteers, including employees, family and friends, participated in the parade, which carried the theme, “Old McBlossom on a Farm,” a celebration of local farmers.

RCU opened a branch in Sebastopol last fall. Last year, RCU staff participated in more than 480 events and contributed 3,800 plus hours to local communities, the 218,000-member credit union said.
