The $286 million McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union in East Windsor, N.J., is now offering its 19,400 members the ability to deposit checks via their iPhone or Android devices.

The Mobile My Deposit service is an enhancement to the credit union's existing mobile apps using technology from Intuit Financial Services, McGraw Hill FCU said.

“We always ask members what they want from their credit union, and we consistently hear that it's the latest technology, safety, ease and accessibility, better rates and minimal fees,” said Shawn Gilfedder, McGraw-Hill FCU president/CEO.

“The launch of Mobile My Deposit is another demonstration of our commitment to provide them with the safest, most convenient banking experience available,” Gilfedder said.

The mobile apps also offer account balances and transfers, bill pay, the locations of more than 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs and 4,300 shared branches, and email and telephone contacts for member care.
