An iPhone mobile app is now being offered by CU Companies to the CUSO's owners and partner credit unions to offer their membership.
The branded app offers mortgage rates with alerts, multi-media educational information and a location-based ATM finder that shows more than 400,000 locations around the world, the New Brighton, Minn., CUSO said. Home buying information and contact forms for asking questions also are highlighted.
The app also can be customized to include branch locators, videos, websites, social media links and contact info and news from the specific credit union, the CUSO said.
"This provides our owners and partners an opportunity to reach their members in a way that sets them apart from their competition," said LeAnn Achtenberg, CU Companies marketing manager.
"We have taken on the development investment so they can take advantage of the technology at a fraction of the cost," said Brad Crandall, CU Companies CEO.
CU Companies offers mortgage, real estate, investments and business lending services.
