Memorial Day weekend on Long Island will again be highlighted by the Bethpage Air Show, featuring favorites such as the Navy's Blue Angels and the Royal Canadian Air Force's aerobatic Snowbirds.
The $4.7 billion Bethpage Federal Credit Union is again a sponsor for the show, set for May 26-27 at Jones Beach State Park.
Also on tap this year is an appearance by the F-22 Raptor, the Air Force's most advanced fighter jet, as well as the Army's Golden Knights parachute team, a World War Two B-17 Flying Fortress and civilian performers such as the GEICO Skytypers and the Bethpage Bi-Plane.
Bethpage also is sponsoring two Facebook contests under way this year leading up to the show.
The Navy's Blue Angels are a highlight of air shows across the country.
The U.S. Air Force will send an F-22 Raptor to the air show.
