Hawaii State Federal Credit Union announced it has hired Andrew Rosen as president/CEO.

Rosen brings a track record of more than 22 years' experience in the financial services industry,assuming key leadership positions at several large financial institutions throughout Hawaii and the U.S. mainland, including Washington Mutual, where he was director of payment products  and fee income;  Regions Financial Corp., where he was chief marketing officer; and Bank of Hawaii, where he was manager, market planning/database marketing.

Most recently,  Rosen led San Francisco-based Bank of the West. Before that he was chief marketing officer of Central Pacific Bank.

Rosen is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in political economy and Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government  with a master's in public policy.

The Honolulu-based credit union has 75,000 members and more than $1.2 billion in assets.
