First Heritage Financial LLC has found a new leader.
Vice President/Director of Mortgage Services John Giordano has been named the new CEO of the Philadelphia-based mortgage service CUSO.
Prior to joining First Heritage in 1999, Giordano began his career in the mortgage industry with Eastern Mortgage Services in 1994 as a director/ assistant vice president, and manager of field services. In 1998, he moved to Phoenix Mortgage Co. as an executive mortgage banker.
First Heritage Financial began as a wholly owned subsidiary of the $1.2 billion American Heritage FCU. In August 2011, Service 1st FCU, Erie FCU and People First FCU purchased ownership positions in First Heritage.
The CUSO said provides turnkey, behind-the-scenes mortgage support to 57 partner credit unions that have combined assets of over $5.5 billion and more than 698,000 members throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. It is also the exclusive mortgage service provider for the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association.
