More than 350 Kansas credit union representatives gathered in Wichita for the Kansas Credit Union Association's 77th Annual Meeting and Convention earlier this month. The agenda included industry speakers and sessions on social media, member relations, credit bureau fraud and activities for the CUnext group of young professionals.

Credit union leaders honored at the event were Larry Eisenhauer, president of Kansas Corporate CU was named Henry Peterson Professional of the Year; Board Chairmen Larry Duntz of Central Star CU of Wichita and Robert Reeves of Kansas State University FCU of Manhattan were named the John Michener Volunteers of the Year; Henry Buset of Kansas Teachers Community CU of Pittsburg was named to the KCUA Hall of Fame; and LeeAnn Marker of Hutchinson CU in Hutchinson received the Political Involvement Award.
