NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz on Wednesday announced the appointment of Martha Ninichuk as Deputy Director of the Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives.
Ninichuk, who joins the NCUA from her position as director of cooperative initiatives for the Michigan Credit Union League, assumes her new duties April 22, the agency said.
"Martha's selection as OSCUI's deputy director solidifies an outstanding leadership team," Matz said. "Her mix of small credit union management and broad credit union field work is ideal for this hands-on position. Martha's wide range of experiences, from running a small credit union in Michigan, to consulting for two state leagues, to international credit union development projects, will also bring fresh perspectives to OSCUI's work."
