APG Federal Credit Union, Aberdeen, Md., last month honored Kimberly D. Hadry, assistant manager of Dealer Direct, with an award presentation for 25 years of dedicated service to the credit union. In 1987, Hadry was hired as a teller at APGFCU's Aberdeen Proving Ground branch and was later promoted to member service representative. Since then, Hadry has held positions as Visa representative and loan officer. In her current role as assistant manager of Dealer Direct, Hadry is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Dealer Direct department and centralized disbursal, including member service lending functions.
PSECU, Harrisburg, Pa., announced the results of its 2012 election of officials. Incumbents Kathleen A. Salmon, Howard C. Ellis and Michael C. Ferster were elected as members of the board of directors. Elizabeth Zeisloft-Shenk will continue to serve on the credit committee. The board also announced officers for 2012. Assuming the position of board chair this year is Joseph Sassano and Jodi Lynne Blanch was named vice chair. Also serving as officers will be Treasurer George J. West and Secretary/Assistant Treasurer Frank J. Breiner.
WEST
OnPoint Community Credit Union, Portland, Ore., announced that Amber Kelly has been named manager of the Oregon City branch. As branch manager, she will be responsible for all daily branch operations, providing leadership to branch staff and developing new business relationships. Kelly has more than 17 years of financial services experience and has worked at OnPoint the past four years. She has been service manager for OnPoint mortgage and held branch positions including assistant manager of the Oregon City branch. Kelly is a 2000 graduate of Concordia University.
Oregon Community Credit Union, Eugene, Ore., has announced the following board officers for 2012: Abe Kossol, chair; Bev Anderson, vice chair; Genevieve Parker, secretary; and Mandy Jones, treasurer. Lee Beyer, Doug Wilkinson, Tom Larson and Jennifer Lushenko will serve as directors. Jerry Liudahl was elected as credit manager. Members on the supervisory committee are Bill Phillips, Rex Ballenger, Jeanine Wallace, Jason Barber and Rick Varnum, with Greg Nelson elected as chairperson.
Redwood Credit Union, Santa Rosa, Calif., has named Todd Lindemann senior vice president of innovation and strategy. As a member of RCU's senior leadership team, Lindemann is responsible for strategic planning, project administration and other key initiatives. Lindemann has more than 20 years of credit union leadership experience and served most recently as assistant vice president of electronic and card services technology at Mountain America Credit Union in Salt Lake City. He is a member of the CUNA Technology Council and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from University of Wisconsin.
MIDWEST
Summit Credit Union, Madison, Wis., has promoted Jim Costanzo to oversee the credit union's Waunakee branch in addition to his current role as branch manager of the Westport branch, which he's managed since June 2011. Costanzo has nearly 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Summit, Costanzo was first vice president of consumer lending and compliance coordinator for AnchorBank in Madison. He also held leadership roles in the areas of training, sales and loan production and managed multiple branches at AnchorBank, where he worked for 28 years. Costanzo earned a bachelor of arts degree from University of Wisconsin–Madison and holds a Wisconsin resident intermediary credit insurance license. He was an instructor and board member for the Wisconsin Bankers Association Consumer Credit School in Madison for the past 10 years.
Telhio Credit Union, Columbus, Ohio announced two staffing changes. Matt Reed has been promoted to branch manager of Telhio's downtown Columbus branch. Previously an assistant branch manager with Telhio, Reed's experience includes nearly a decade of hospitality and bank service experience. He has an MBA and bachelor's degree in hospitality management, both from the University of Findlay. Patrick Eaton has been hired as assistant branch manager at the Gahanna/New Albany branch. Prior to his work with Telhio, Easton was a branch manager with US Bank and worked in retail customer service for 13 years. He studied business at Lakeland Community College in northeast Ohio.
Veridian Credit Union, Waterloo, Iowa, announced that Matthew Dahl has been hired as facilities and maintenance specialist. Dahl worked previously as a self-employed contractor.
SOUTH
Coastal Federal Credit Union, Raleigh, N.C. announced that Brian Bunn has joined the credit union as vice president of business planning and analysis. In this position, he is responsible for overall financial reporting, business planning and business evaluation functions for Coastal. Bunn enters his new position with extensive risk management experience within numerous financial institutions. Bunn earned his bachelor of science in music engineering from the University of Miami and his MBA in finance from Duke University. He is a certified public accountant and holds the chartered financial analyst designation.
Virginia Credit Union, Richmond, Va., announced that Todd Feldman has joined the credit union as vice president of marketing. Feldman brings more than 20 years of marketing and e-commerce experience to Virginia Credit Union. He was most recently vice president of marketing and strategic commerce services for AAXIS Commerce, a consulting firm providing strategic business and technical services to retail and business-to-business companies. Previously, he was with Circuit City Direct as head of social media and emerging channels. Feldman will lead marketing and member communication strategy for Virginia Credit Union through the use of social media, digital marketing, and traditional channels.
