The impact of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will be the topic of an April 24 webcast by NAFCU.
CFPB Director Richard Cordray will be on the live webcast, set for 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. EDT that Tuesday from NAFCU's headquarters in Arlington, Va., the trade group said.
NAFCU said participants can ask Cordray questions directly during the webcast. NAFCU General Counsel and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Carrie Hunt will moderate.
The webcast is free and open to all credit unions, regardless of membership or charter type. Registration is available online or by calling 1-800-344-5580.
“This special webcast will give all credit unions a valuable opportunity to continue the conversation with Director Cordray about what to expect from the agency, including the rules and regulations that will affect them the most,” said NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker.
