Add Citizens Community Credit Union CEO Paul L. Becker to the growing list of leaders who have retired.

After 36 years of service, Becker has announced his retirement from the Fort Dodge, Iowa-based credit union. During his tenure the credit union has grown to $144 million in assets serving 14,500 members. Active in many credit union and community organizations, Becker has served as the Iowa League of Credit Unions League board chairman as well as committee chair positions.

He also has served on the Credit Union Political Action Committee Stabilization Fund, Iowa Credit Union Foundation (charter board member), the legislative committee, and the new products and service committee (charter board member).

In addition, he has served on the Review Board State of Iowa Credit Union Division, working directly with Sen. Charles Grassley and Rep. Tom Latham, and is a past chairman of the board of directors of the Iowa Credit Union League.

Sean Hanley, executive vice president/chief financial officer has been tapped to succeed Becker. Hanley has over 25 years of financial management experience and has been at the credit union for the past five years.
