Paul Becker has retired as CEO of Citizens Community Credit Union after 36 years at the Fort Dodge, Iowa, credit union.
During his tenure the credit union has grown to $144 million in assets serving 14,561 members.
Active in many credit union and community organizations, Becker has served as the Iowa Credit Union League board chairman as well as committee chair positions. He also has served on the Credit Union Political Action Committee Stabilization Fund and as a charter board member of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation and the league's new products and service committee.
Becker also has served on the review board of the state's Credit Union Division and on contact groups working directly with Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) and Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa).
Sean Hanley, executive vice president/chief financial officer, has been tapped to succeed Becker. Hanley has more than 25 years of financial management experience and has been at the credit union for the past five years.
Becker will be honored for his 36 years of leadership and commitment with an open house reception on April 5, the credit union said.
