Its participation in the Ride for Missing Children helped the $312 million First Source Federal Credit Union in New Hartford, N.Y., earn the Credit Union Association of New York's 2012 Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Recognition Award for credit unions in the $200 – $500 million assets category. First Source helped the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by raising and donating more than $29,200, helping with the printing of 577,087 posters that recovered 453 children in 2011. “The Ride for Missing Children is a key community partnership for First Source,” said Mike Parsons, First Source's president/CEO.
