NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz today opened registration for her second Listening Session, which will take place on May 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Westin Alexandria.

“We want to hear directly from credit union officials and volunteers about how we can improve our examination process and reduce or streamline our regulations,” said Matz. “We're also open to hearing about any other actions we could take to achieve our shared goal of a safe and sound credit union industry.”

Matz is planning Listening Sessions for the following dates, times and locations:

  • May 2, 1-4 p.m., Boston, NCUA Region 1
  • May 9, 1-4 p.m., Alexandria, NCUA Region 2
  • June 5, 1-4 p.m., St. Louis, NCUA Region 4
  • June 12, 1-4 p.m., Orlando, NCUA Region 3
  • July 10, 1-4 p.m., San Diego, Region 2
  • July 31, 1-4 p.m., Denver, NCUA Region 5
