Coopera has unveiled an improved online resource at cooperaconsulting.com to help credit unions reach the Hispanic market.
The site has been revamped to make it easier for credit union staff to access educational materials designed to help enhance credit union's Hispanic outreach programs, the firm said.
In addition a new blog will cover financial industry trends, Hispanic community highlights and tips from credit unions on their most successful Hispanic outreach programs.
Coopera is a bicultural, bilingual economic development firm majority owned by the Iowa Credit Union League.
“Our goal is to help credit unions better understand the Hispanic community, uncover new ideas and learn best practices for tailoring their products and services to the market,” said Miriam De Dios, Coopera vice president.
“Credit unions that appreciate the nuances of the Hispanic market will be well-positioned to capture young, loyal members,” she said.
A free monthly e-newsletter is also available through the website. Titled Hispanic Outreach Insights, it features practical steps and ideas for building trust with local Hispanic communities.
