TransFirst LLC of Hauppauge, N.Y., said the $2.9 billion Desert Schools Federal Credit Union in Phoenix plans to deploy the company's Web-based centralized payment processing system.
The Transaction Central solution provides 24/7 access to payment processing services via any Internet-connected device, while the TransLink component delivers a variety of reports and management tools to better serve the credit union's members, the company said.
Sales support teams, portfolio performance reports, a 24/7 merchant helpdesk, competitive pricing and innovative products for members also are included, the company and credit union said.
"It is a top priority of ours to look for ways to improve on existing processes and ensure the quality standards of each of our processes are kept high," said Ron Amstutz, the 326,000-member Desert Schools' executive vice president.
TransFirst said it now provides payment processing and related services to more than 175,000 merchants, financial institutions and sales partners, generating about $30 billion a year in annual transaction volume.
