Following a year touted for what it called spectacular growth, Check 21 specialist Bluepoint Solutions is preparing to move from its Southern California home to a new headquarters in the Las Vegas area.

The check capture, item processing and content management provider said it grew its direct customer base by 36% in 2011, claiming a 99% retention rate and adding 22 full-time employees. The company now employs 80 people and said it plans to move from Vista, Calif., to its new headquarters in Henderson, Nev., in March.

New channel partners and new solutions helped drive 2011 results, the company said.

Bluepoint's Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Tilbury said, "2011 was a year of spectacular growth for Bluepoint. We are especially excited about the additions to our channel partner network and their ability to bring our solutions to an even larger number of financial institutions nationwide in 2012."

The company said it now partners with seven corporate credit unions and CUSOs and serves more than 1,000 customers, including approximately 200 credit unions.

New solutions in 2011 included real-time fraud detection tools, a mailroom remittance solution and partnering with several mobile banking partners.

Plans for 2012, Tilbury said, include expanding content management, fraud detection and teller capture offerings and upgrading its FASTdocs application suite.
