The $434 million Southeast Financial Credit Union of Franklin, Tenn., now has co-president/CEOs.

Southeast Financial said the promotions of two top executives, Jeff Dahlstrom and John Jacoway, follows the retirement of veteran manager John Simmonds on Jan. 15.

A spokeswoman said an online search found the joint CEO title “in a number of other industries” though she was unfamiliar with any recent pairings among credit unions.

Dahlstrom most recently was chief operations officer/executive vice president of business, consumer and mortgage lending at Southeast Financial CU and also has been in charge of marketing, business development and operations.

Jacoway has been chief financial officer/executive vice president heading up accounting, information technology, human resources, member services and quality control.

Also named among January promotions was Christian Adkison as chief financial officer. He previously had been senior vice president of accounting.

Simmonds is continuing to work as the head of the credit union's service CUSO.
