Two more insurance companies have been purchased by TDECU Insurance Agency LLC.
TDECU Insurance said it acquired Assurance Insurance Agency Inc. in Bellville, Texas, and Burridge Insurance Agency Inc. in Angleton, Texas. Both deals closed Feb. 2.
The most recent acquisitions come on the heels of the CUSO's purchase of Associated Insurance Agency Inc., which closed Jan. 3.
Assurance specializes in commercial insurance for small and mid-sized businesses. Burridge offers life and health insurance and employee benefits.
TDECU Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of the $1.8 billion Texas Dow Employees Credit Union in Lake Jackson.
