PULSE, the debit and ATM network owned by Discover Financial Services, has launched a website designed to help credit unions and other debit card issuers navigate the complicated debit program regulations.

Dubbed the PULSE Debit Regulations Resource Center, the site, which grew out a previous site which focused on the Durbin amendment, contains information about debit card regulations that users should be able to access and understand easily, the network explained.

“We heard from many of our participants that they valued the convenience and comprehensiveness of this resource for debit-related legislative and regulatory news and information, and we believe that expanding the focus of the site will drive even greater value to our network participants,” said Steve Sievert, PULSE senior vice president of communications and marketing. “The Debit Regulations Resource Center is one more way for PULSE to provide guidance and insight to our clients.”

The re-launched site will include news, information, white papers, on-demand webinars, commentary and expert analysis from PULSE and other industry leaders on different aspect of debit issues and regulations.
