The $1.7 billion Municipal Credit Union is now offering banking by Apple to the Big Apple.
The 327,000-member New York City credit union has launched a mobile banking app available on the iTunes app store for users of iPhones, iPads and the iPod Touch.
Functionality includes balances, transfers and branch and ATM locators. An Android version is being prepared, MCU said.
“We are proud to now offer mobile banking to our members,” said MCU President/CEO Kam Wong. “We expect MCU members to take full advantage of our new app and their 24/7 relationship with us.”
