The $69 million Katahdin FCU in Millinocket, Maine, will be converting to the Symitar Episys core processing platform through the service bureau at Synergent Technology Services, the company and credit union said.
The 7,600-member Katahdin FCU, which also has a location in Island Falls, is currently using the Fiserv DataSafe platform, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
Synergent, a subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League in Portland, said it now has 56 credit unions running on Episys and provides a variety of services to nearly 200 credit unions in all.
Synergent said it also recently signed agreements to provide a variety of services to several other credit unions, all in Maine.
They are the$115 million Bangor FCU in Bangor, the $45 million Brewer FCU in Brewer, the$21 million Changing Seasons FCU in Hampden, the $207 million Evergreen CU in Portland, the $242 million Maine Savings FCU in Hampden, the $193 million University CU in Orono and the $43 million Coast Line CU in South Portland for mobile banking from Access Softek; Changing Seasons FCU for digital marketing from Deep Target; the $245 million Atlantic Regional FCU in Brunswick, Maine Savings FCU and the $148 million NorState FCU in Madawaska for online banking from Jwaala; the $60 million New Dimensions FCU in Waterville and the $33 million Sabattus Regional CU in Sabattus for shared branching; and the $70 million Sebasticook Valley FCU in Pittsfield for statement processing.
