Among Pennsylvania credit union leaders, it's the New York Giants who will win Sunday's Super Bowl based on a "Highway Quick Poll" conducted by the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association.
Out of 201 online votes cast this week, which it calls a "record number," readers of the league's email bulletin selected the Giants 102 votes, 50.7%, to the 71 votes, 35.3%, for New England Patriots.
In the other categories; 16 or 8% said they "don't care," 8 or 4% "only watch commercials" and 4 or 2% "don't watch the game."
The PCUA in counting what it said are "the numerous sports fans" noted that a poll it took last September asking which NFL team in Pennsylvania had the best chance to make it to the Super Bowl had second highest response. The Pittsburgh Steelers won that poll, the PCUA said.
Meanwhile, in the latest "neutral-site" prediction for Sunday, Las Vegas bookmakers were favoring the Patriots by three points.
