Computer Marketing Corp. has released a new version of the FLEX core processing platform used by nearly 300 credit unions, the Sandy, Utah, company said.
Version 8.0.1 includes support for "virtually limitless" account types under a single member account and security enhancements such as increasing the teller ID length, the company said.
The upgrade is the most extensive since the company released its Java User Interface Control Environment, or JUICE, interface in 2009, CMC said.

Enhancements also were made to ACH, audio response, business accounts, cards, certificates, collections, drafts, payroll, general ledger/accounting and other functions, CMC said.
"The architecture of FLEX in a single-server JUICE environment makes it possible for us to stay ahead of the curve in technology applications," said Sean Holcomb, FLEX senior vice president.
"This new release not only eases teller management, it simplifies all credit union systems and operations," Holcomb said.
